Jenkins and I ended up in the Nike store today at Union Square.  Surprisingly, my entire day to day shoe line up no longer consists of a single pair of ‘true’ sneakers.

Mike had a gift card from a vendor to blow.  I was just looking around.

However, I ended up being drawn to a pair of a Free Run running soes in a subtle black color way  (I’ll post photos later).

During check out I noticed that Product (Red) is still alive and strong.  This time it came in the form of shoelaces.  I’m a fan of the Product (Red) campaign so I picked some up for the new sneaks.  I thought it wouldn’t hurt to add a splash of color and do a tiny amount of ‘good’ in the process.

I remember first seeing the laces specifically in this web film that featured Kobe and a bunch of soccer players.
